My Final Thoughts About Life: Bucket List

Everyone has a bucket list, but not everyone fully checks off every item one by one. I have a rule I live by; check off at least one item a year. I think that simple goal will help anyone feel more accomplished, even if its the smallest goal in the world. Like, visit a state, or paint something, or loose 5 pounds. DO IT. It doesn't matter what it is, if checking off that one item will make you a happier person, just do it. Whatever the obstacles that are in the way, knock every one of them down. Americans have a tendency to ignore their personal needs and they put work before their life. I think that we should do what we love, but also realize that we are working to be able to pay to do the things we want to do. We save up for trips, to travel around the world, so why not, at least, start saving now? Put away 10% or a certain percentage of your pay check away for travel. We need fun in our lives, and we surrender ourselves to a work-ethic lifestyle, no wonder Americans are so unhappy. We are making money, but we are sacrificing happiness. So if you don't have a bucket list by now, you are never too old or too young to create one, and start checking off the items on your list. Be creative, have fun, live your life. I mean, that's what we are here for, right? To open our minds and our imaginations to a world we never thought could ever exist. Now it can exist, and you can make it happen. Make your dream come true, say yes.

  1. Great points, it is certainly true that our society today has dived so deep with it's consumerism that we forget that we need to be happy to have success

  2. Wow that is a great idea right at the start of the post re. the bucket list. Check off one item a year. That makes it so much more simple and doable. Some people never start because they feel so overwhelmed at the process. Yet, if you just do one thing...then hey, that might lead to the next thing. Great advice./lm
